As I was reading Romans 6 today, this verse struck me as somehow being particularly contemporary.
“Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey —whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?”
This website, like me, is retired but still going.
My hope lies in our Creator alone, through his promises and his will. I “see our redemption drawing near”. Many now will disagree, but as they come to see all of their hopes and plans and solutions failing in the face of crushing evil, some hearts will turn. I would hope that many do.
